The Fairmont Washington DC

Nice location, friendly staff. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Easy walk to Foggy Bottoms metro, through a cute historic Foggy Bottoms neighborhood.

We had a room facing M street and it was loud.

The hotel was freezing. Too cold in the common areas, but turned the heat up in the room. There were smokers on my floor and the smell crept into my room. Overwhelming. They were able to move me to a different floor after the first night, but failed to move my bags and required me making a couple trips back downstairs to the desk because they didn’t answer the phone.

Quiet courtyard with birds singing into your window — what a blessing for a big city. Good buffet breakfast, fresh renovation across the property.

Everything was great.

The room was sumptious - upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the courtyard was an added touch. The bed and bathroom, specifically the shower, was extraordinarily comfortable.

Being charged for Wi-Fi is something I'm not accustomed to. Additionally, the lobby was very crowded but that's to be expected for a popular hotel.

Friendly staff and they helped me to celebrate my sons birthday and provided surprise birthday cupcake

Bathroom tub water was not drained and in the first day mid night I had to clean it and remove lot of hairs which has blocked the drainage line
