Shame it didn’t have a rooftop pool but the hot tub was a great substitute

A lovely calm riad set well away from the hustle of the medina down a small lane. The staff could not have been more helpful or charming at every stage and everything felt very personal. A good sized room and bathroom looking over the central courtyard with a small pool. Substantial French style breakfast to start each day

The location is perfect. It’s right in the centre and I walked to everything I wanted to see. It’s spotlessly clean. The bed is comfortable. There’s a good bathroom with plenty of water. The spa treatment I had which was a hamam and massage was excellent. The breakfast is good and if you ask for an omelette that’s good too. The staff are very helpful and kind.

Ignore the title of this section. I didn’t dislike this but here are things you should consider. The suites are duplex so the bedroom and bathroom are on the upper level, the living room and wardrobe space are on the lower level. So you get washed upstairs, then you come downstairs to get dressed, then you’re upstairs again because there are no mirrors downstairs. You get the picture. Consider whether you’re fit and agile enough to do stairs a lot. Also the private terrace and hot tub is outside on the roof, so it’s stairs again. In the room, the safe is on the floor on the cupboard so you have to get on your hands and knees to use it (please change this Shanima). There’s currently a building site right outside the door so it’s donkey carts full of rubble as you leave. Also be aware taxis can’t get to it so you have to walk about 3/4 mins to the spot where they can get to. None of these are terrible things but just for awareness.

1) dobra lokalizacja - riad zlokalizowany w szeroko pojętej mediny, skley i miejsca do zjedzenie w zasięgu kilkuset metrów, jazda taksówką na lotnisko zajmuje 20-30 minut, cicho 2) bardzo miły personel, choć poza menadżerką, z którą można się jako tako porozumieć po angielsku, reszta nie mówi po angielsku 3) miłe przywitanie - herbata z miętą :)

1) śniadania jedynie na słodko, trochę monotonne
