D'Offay Seaview Apartments

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage im D’Offay Seaview Apartment. Die Lage ist nicht ganz zentral, aber durch einen Schleichweg ist man schnell am Strand. Großer Dank an die Gastgeber, so freundlich und warmherzig habe ich es noch nirgends erlebt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und die ganze Anlage Top gepflegt. Vielen Dank auch a die 2 zauberhaften Angestellten, die immer zur Stelle waren. So wünscht man sich einen unvergesslichen Urlaub.

Our stay in this apartment was truly a wonderful experience. The place is exceptionally clean, perfectly maintained, and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay – from kitchen essentials to thoughtful little details. The hosts were kind and attentive, and communication was quick and easy. The location is great too – peaceful, yet close to everything you need.

Le personnel est exceptionnel ainsi que le logement était parfait. Maryvonne nous a même fait un tour d’une vingtaine de minutes pour nous faire découvrir les meilleurs restaurants et plages aux alentours. Le logement était génial et très fonctionnel, on a même pu laver du linge grâce a la machine à laver. Superbe vue sur la plage.

The hosts, Maryvonne and George, the apartment and the location have to be experienced to be believed, Maryvonne and George are the kindest, most attentive hosts we have met in 50 years of travelling the world. Food in the spotless apartment on arrival, the amazing view from the balcony, a mobile phone with local sim card, a list off attractions and restaurants, two excellent Creole dinners worthy of any michelin starred restaurant cooked by George, a trip around the whole coastline of Mahe for a quarter of the price charged by tour operators which included lunch and informative commentary are just a few of the things we can mention. Maryvonne just doesn't know when to stop giving. Advice, recommendations, more free trips into town than we could count, available on the phone any time. The transfers from and to the airport are pennies compared to tour or airport operators even at 06.00 to catch an early flight. Maryvonne and George have a deal with 3 sisters who run a taxi service evenings and weekends in the local area for a flat 125 rupees a trip. 3 amazing and fiercely intelligent girls and a very efficient service. Do yourselves the biggest favour ever and stay at D'Offay Seaview with Maryvonne and George and I will guarantee you will be booking your next stay before you leave. Nothing could have been better. The hosts, the apartment, the pool, the location, the view all worthy of a five star hotel costing ten times what we paid

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ein absolut perfekter Aufenthalt – besser geht’s nicht! Vielleicht das beste Apartment, in dem wir je waren. Die Gastgeber Maryvone und Georges sind unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit, für einen deutlich günstigeren Preis als mit dem Taxi abgeholt oder zum Flughafen gebracht zu werden. Obwohl es sich um ein Apartment handelt, ist immer Personal vor Ort – Nimashi und Leandro, die sich um Strand- und Pooltücher, den Müll und vieles andere kümmern – immer superfreundlich und aufmerksam. Die Gastgeber haben uns sogar persönlich herumgefahren und gezeigt, wo man gut essen oder einkaufen kann. An einem Abend haben sie für alle Gäste ein gemeinsames Abendessen zubereitet – völlig kostenlos und mit so viel Herz! Das Apartment selbst ist super ausgestattet, sehr geräumig und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Insel und das Meer. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Auch geschützte Parkplätze sind vorhanden – und es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, ein Auto zu mieten, um die Insel zu erkunden.

Everything is just perfect. From the moment you arrive you are treated to fantastic hospitality. Maryvonne and her staff take time to show you all the facilities available at the accommodation. They also provide a welcome pack that helps you settle in. Our penthouse had stunning views across Beau Vallon and was equipped to the highest standard. The night sky sunsets are stunning to watch from the beach as is sun rise from the penthouse. All the accommodation hls fitted out to the highest standards. We had a little preview of the 2 bedroom downstairs accommodation and it is absolutely out of this world 🌎. Probably the best we have seen whilst on our travels around the world. After the tour of the property Maryvonne had time to show us Beau Vallon, pointing out good places to eat, shopping areas and the beautiful beach area. You will also receive a detailed list of all the best beaches to visit across the island, as well as bars and restaurants. We decided to hire a car for 2 days which was once again organised by Maryvonne. This allowed us to do a complete tour of the island and visit the numerous fantastic beaches along with a few hours in the capital Victoria. On the second night a super meal was provided by our hosts all cooked by and explained to us by Georges who is very passionate about Creole cuisine. Whilst there it was my wife's birthday, Maryvonne advised and booked our restaurant which was Italian. The food and drinks were very good.

Host and staff are very welcoming and accommodating. The apartment is perfect, so clean and spacious. Amazing home from home. 11/10. Would love to stay again.

One of the highlights of our stay in the Seychelles! The hosts were amazing and went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly. From a private neighborhood tour to an unforgettable dinner with all the guests — the homemade food (and the best papayas I’ve had in my life!) completely changed my view on Seychelles cuisine. Absolutely wonderful experience!

We had a fantastic stay at Doffay Apartments! Maryvonne and Georges are truly outstanding hosts who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartments are spacious, spotless, and furnished to a very high standard, and their team keeps everything — including the large pool area — immaculate. One of the highlights of our stay was being invited to dinner, where Georges cooked a delicious Creole meal for us. It was such a lovely evening! Nothing was ever too much trouble for either of them — they even offered us lifts around the area whenever we needed. We also enjoyed a wonderful day trip with Maryvonne and Georges, exploring all the best beaches and sights around Mahé. If you’re staying in Beau Vallon, we can’t recommend Doffay Apartments highly enough. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
