LOGE Glacier

breakfast wasn't included despite the cost. I booked a family room which was supposed to have 2 queens, but we were given a cabin with 1 queen and 2 lofts with fulls, but barely 2' of headroom - not appropriate for 2 men in their 50's. Dinner one night at hotel made me ill all night. For check in we received a door code which did not work, and I had to walk back to the lobby across the train tracks to get the correct code. Poor organization.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Their communication through texts were fantastic throughout our stay . I absolutely love the grounds,it is so peaceful.and the fire pits are a nice touch. We stayed in the schoolhouse and the rooms were large,very nicely updated with a wonderful deck off of our room,with a table and chairs to enjoy nature and a view overlooking the hotel and train tracks. They have accommodations for every desire. It was so much fun to see the trains go by, it adds a charm to the environment. The trains run 24 hours a day and even though we could hear them,they did not keep us awake at night The bar downstairs in the hotel and game rooms are so cozy, you almost feel like you are in Europe in a pub. The location of the hotel to the east and West gate of Glacier National Park was perfect

Our room in the schoolhouse was lovely and large. The updating of these units is very nice. There were only a few things I wish were different, there were no hangers in the room or closet. The drawer space was limited to one small drawer in each nightstand. We pretty much lived out of our suitcase. Also, they had a nice fridge, microwave and beautiful white counter but nothing to wipe up spills, there were no paper towels or tissues, we were limited to toilet paper if you needed to wipe up anything.. Coffee in the morning in our room was limited to instant coffee,which for the price I thought having real coffee and/or hot tea in the room would have been included.

We had an amazing time at LOGE Glacier! Everything was perfect...the amazing property, food, hiking, included bike rentals, and friendly staff. We are already talking about booking our next trip!

Location was perfect. Easy access to West and East glacier entrance & St Mary's. We were able to do GTSR twice from East to West without worrying about timed entry.
