Lake Classical Guest House

Einfaches aber sehr zentrales guesthouse. Sehr nette gastgeber, welche ein tolles frühstück machten und uns sogar noch beschenkten.

Kalte dusche, kennt man aber von sri lanka.

Preis Leistung ist super, direkt am See und nicht sehr weit zum Zahntempel. Die Betreiber organisierten uns ein sehr gutes Frühstück.

L’emplacement était très bien : tout était accessible à pied. Très proche du lac et du temple de la dent (15min à pied). L’hôte était serviable et nous a aidé en nous prêtant un adaptateur et en gardant nos sacs le jour de notre départ.

L’eau de la douche était froide. Notre adaptateur faisait disjoncter. Très bruyant (route et voisin). « vue sur le lac » un peu mensongère.

Posizione fronte lago. Camere confortevoli Staff gentile e disponibile.

Vista lago, giardino e spazi comuni tenuti in ordine. Camera e bagno puliti. Ottima colazione e sempre disponibili. In 5/10 minuti a piedi dal centro di Kandy

Fab location overlooking the lake, walking distance to Temple, restaurants, Kandy dancing, etc. Their breakfast is well worth the extra money - the only truly Sri Lankan breakfast we had on our holiday (no cold toast & eggs) - curries, different breads, other savouries, fruit, sweet pancakes plus halapa which is supposed to be a superfood! The staff are excellent- very friendly and welcoming and ready to provide water/tea/coffee whenever you need it. Tip: there is a forest (Uttawankele) about 30 mins walk from the guest house which was a haven of cool and quiet after the heat & noise of the city. Bliss.

No air con & a fan wasn’t quite enough to combat the intense heat for us oldies.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war super herzlich und immer mit einer Empfehlung parat. Das Frühstück sollte man sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen - es war unfassbar gut!!!
