Astrostays at Pangong

I am sorry to say,but they the owners are cheaters of the worst kind! We walked out of the place after one night. They threatened and screamed at us and refused to refund any money saying thet they were what they were. The plain truth is that there are many more rooms available at Pangong lake with much better views and facilities for a quarter of the price! We mistakenly thought that an expensive place would be really good. SAD! DO NOT GO is our advice to all.

No facilities what so ever. The room was sad, the view was misleading in the description and was pathetic. The toliets were a few meters away, all right , but they refuse to leave the light on at night and the toilet door could not be bolted from inside!! The worst was their attitude. No manners what so ever. The other two couples who also were guests were quiet unhappy. Ruined our holiday totally.

It’s a family run place with warm hospitality. They offer an engaging stargazing session for extra cost that adds to the charm of the place.

Didn’t dislike anything but would like mention that the property is not on the bank of the river incase you want to stay close to the lake. Only 2 room has a view of the lake. So ask for it when you book.

A great stay at Pangong Lake with a very friendly and nice host. The common area / kitchen is really nice and gives you a feeling for the Ladakh way of living. Would 100% recommend to stay here during Pangong Lake visit.

We got to know that we can get a stay with 24 hr wifi and hot water supply at ~Rs.2000 at the nearby village Since it is not listed in online sites; it felt as though we overpaid for the services that we got Only 6 hr electricity is there Attached bathroom isn't there Only 1 bucket of hot water is available

It was completely fake property ad/, there was no such property existing on same name, they collected full amount of booking online via separate mail, before reaching the hotel I called many times but no response received, when reaching the property it was found only a small owner occupaid house with poor Facility, Location is on main road outskirt the pangong lake and property is without any name, far away of house one small board found with different name as "BUKPA HOMESTAY", In booking,com they displated different name, fees collected in different name, fees collection confirmed by different name of property, finally the physical property with a small board in name of different property occupaid by house owner, Online pics are taken from some other good property and posted in booking.com site which are not at all matching with actual, I booked this property for 2 room double occupancy with Rs 13500 plus for one night but when I reached it's found like a slum, I was very much upset on this fake property coz it's cheated me and Finally I searched another property near the pangong lake view with a very high price (no other options available with me), Very next day I sent email who collected the full booking amount to refund me but so far no reply,

It was fake property, they took full booking amount online and confirmed receipt in different property, I booked hotel but after receiving full amount they confirmed it's a homestay but that also like a slum
