Lake view Romantic retreat

Very comfy bed. Great views. Peaceful and tranquil.

Downstairs bathroom.

Maggie’s annex is the perfect place for a couple looking for a quiet break away from it all. We found it comfortable and cosy but with all the facilities we needed. The location is superb with a lake view and some lovely walking right out of the door. Plenty to do in the area too (Aberystwyth, Devil’s Bridge, Mach Loop, etc.)

Excellent location, would really recommend for a secluded but very comfortable stay. The view is stunning and although we didn't end up bumping into our host, you could feel the love and care taken in the property through the notes and literature left for you to read.

I am not sure we quite clocked how remote it was from a good supermarket without some proper mileage in a car, but if you stock up before arriving you'll have no issues & it's worth it for the peace.

friendly owner. she has left post-it notes all around explaining how to use various strange (to US visitors) systems such as the hot water for the shower. it was unseasonably cold so she turned the heat back on.

main issue is that this is on a tiny back road, and hard for an inexperienced driver to navigate the sloped tight entryway. mattress was uncomfortable, it's not flat. lots of light in room as soon as sun came out

Lovely, well equipped and very quiet. The view over the lake and hills as the sun was coming up were incredible.

Everything, quiet place and a very quirky little cottage.

Not to dislike about the property, or the location.

Beautiful, romantic spot, with a fire place inside and a beautiful lake outside.
