Modena Centro Junior Suite

Great location, great service. We could check in during the evening, and the apartment owner was able to recommend transportation to and from the airport.

It is in the Historical area and easy to walk to stores and restaurants.

The elevator does not go to the fourth floor so we had to haul our bags up steep, uneven stairs to access the apartment from the third floor. We are older and twenty years ago it wouldn’t be a problem. The entrance area is odd and there are three access codes to get in but Stephanie was so helpful and easy to work with.

Clean and organized well. Good A/C and shower with comfortable bed. Access to centro. Parking pass was arranged. Easy to communicate with host.

Final steps into Junior Suite apartment are a bit steep to carry baggage. However once inside, everything is convenient.

The apartment was perfectly clean with all a well equipped kitchenette in case you want to prepare easy meals. Coffee included, which was great. The bottle of local wine as a gift was a cherry on the top. The communication with Stefanie, the host, was very smoothly and attentive. Thank you. If I come back to Modena, I will definitely choose this apartment again.

This was a cozy place right in the heart of Modena - perfectly located! The host was quickly responsive to our requests and very willing to recommend places in the city. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay!

There was some construction work going on on the building but not a big deal

Lighting in the bedroom was very cozy and the bedding was comfortable. Different pillow options would be nice since they were all very thin. Decor was very nicely done. There was hot water, everything was clean. Love the frosted windows in the bathroom allowing for daylight but also privacy. Loved the streaming options on the tv and the bottle of water and wine in the fridge!

We arrived late in the evening and needed a flashlight to navigate the hallways. We later learned there were buttons to light a portion of your way. We were also not aware there were steep stairs to get to the apartment. Fortunately, we did not have an issue but it’s important to know this is not wheelchair accessible. I wish Stefania would have shared the customary timing of restaurants closing in the late afternoon. Most were closed between 5-7pm, reopening for dinner. However, we found many were also closed by 9pm or no longer serving food and only drinks. This led us to find a pizza place that was still open but wouldn’t cook any food. They were closing 30 minutes before closing time. There was no option to store luggage anywhere and we were not able to have a late checkout.
