Beautiful, rustic bungalow

It was in a great location only short walk to Southwold. The house had plenty of space and good parking. It was clean apart from a big stain on the carpet of one of the rooms, and that room smelt foul. We were unable to sleep in that room & had to keep door shut to try and contain the smell.

The foul smell in one of the bedroom with the big stain on the carpet. The owner did say they had previously had a blockage problem. We were unable to sleep in there as it was so bad.

Verwarming gecompliceerd. Je mag de radiatoren niet gebruiken. Dit betekent dat als je de verwarming aanzet met de boiler het overal warm wordt ook in de slaapkamers. dat is niet fijn. Kleine douchekop werkt niet. Dubbele beglazing is noodzakelijk, enkel glas slechte staat .

Accommodation was great, with lovely, quaint touches. It's like a tardis! Very spacious bedrooms with comfy beds. Large kitchen. Good, small, secure garden for my dog. Lovely Rayburn stove which kept us lovely and warm and a large wood burner. Good location within easy reach of attractions.

Quite a lot of bulbs need replacing and a kick board in the kitchen was loose, but nothing a handy man couldn't fix. Back door was hard to open but that was probably due to so much rain and the wood had swollen.

Location was great, good secure garden for the dog and nice and quiet. Really lovely stay.

The bungalow was tastefully decorated and well equipped. It was indeed cosy and we loved it.

The only drawback was having only one toilet situated in the lovely bathroom but a distance away from the bedrooms.

The property is warm, spacious & welcoming & is attractively furnished. Our bed was very comfortable. Well-appointed kitchen & bathroom too. Easy walking distance to Southwold town & a convenience store close by, made it a good location.

We were disappointed at the lack of a teapot & coffee maker. There were only four bowls but numerous plates, which was inconvenient. The surfaces in the kitchen were in need of a good scrub, too. A chest of drawers in the front bedroom would be a big improvement.

Its the third time we have stayed at this property as it ideal for our needs . The property is close to Southwold and its beach , is all on one level and has off road parking right outside . Its cosy with a traditional vibe especially the kitchen that has a Rayburn cooker which we love. The rooms are all good size There is a grocery store close by that has a good selection of goods

Would have appreciated a sensor external light at the front of the property when we got back in the evenings

A lovely cosy bungalow in a great location. It was nice and clean and suited us perfectly for our trip to Southwold, which was an easy 20 minute walk away. We would love to come back again!

We struggled a bit with the stove/hob, but this didn’t really bother us as there are lots of great places to eat nearby!
