We liked that the bedrooms were accommodating - the kitchen had appliances that we needed and that there were enough toilets for the people staying. There was washing powder however so that was great.

The couches were just hard springs so very uncomfortable to sit on, some of the coffee cups were not clean. There were no tea towels or a dish scrub. The sponge provided to wash dishes was used and dirty. The pillows were also uncomfortable and only two per bed. They were more like pretty display pillows as opposed to ones you could sleep with. We all had neck and back pain afterwards. The door lock also didn’t work at first we had to call the property manager to help us reset it.

I loved this place! Great location and super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Only positives were that the owner saw to our request for more dishwashing tablets, bin liners and replaced towels given our long 11-night stay and was responsive in providing drinking glasses (as there were none) and fixing the hot water gas (because it was out when we arrived so no hot showers or gas cooking). Shower water pressure was good. Beds not broken. March 2026

So many issues that made this stay difficult and uncomfortable. We ended up having to book other accommodation to be comfortable. We do not recommend. Bed bugs suspicion. 1. The garage doesn't open unless you awkwardly manoeuvre it by hand with a lot of force so parking is street only - neighbour told us off straightaway not to park in front of our garage when we were unloading and trying to figure out the garage. Not a great start on arrival. 2. Laundry not able to dry/ clothesline broken/no clotheshorse. One main reason we chose this was for the laundry facilities because of our baby. No functioning clothes rack as listed under amenities. Ridiculous times on the fancy washer dryer like 7h for a small load. 3. Heat upstairs plus no fly screens for pest control. 2 fans provided but the house heated up to 28-30 degrees inside on mild autumn days. Suffered from sweat and prickly heat skin on the humid days and where the sun heated up the place. Need a split system upstairs as the downstairs one did nothing to alleviate upstairs heat. Later realised the prickly heat might be bed bugs as we both got welts. 4. The couch has no stuffing so when you sit, you sink straight to the bones. So there's nowhere to relax or hang out and renders the living room useless. 5. The kettle boils non-stop because the lid pops open. There's not much in the kitchen just a few mugs and glasses but enough plates and cutlery. Mismanaged - needs a few things to improve the place: clean bedding to remove any bugs, replace couches, add clothes airer, add more dining chairs, install split system upstairs, replace kettle, seal kitchen gaps due to pests (ants). Owner has not made this place very liveable. March 2026.

Bed bugs and flees infested! Chairs completely broke on the first night, beds literally snapped on the second night. And when I called the owner on day one he said they were going to come and fix it AGAIN? Well guess what? They never showed! Everything in that house I know has broke through time with everyone who rents it, and apparently all they do is just fix what nearly can’t be fixed. Talk about being tight! I would never book here again

It was a really nice place to stay. It was comfortable and there was enough space for everyone. Easy access to amenities and town. Really nice, spacious property.

Unfortunately, the couches were extremely uncomfortable to sit on as the paddings of the couches have been worn away/eroded, felt like you only sit on the springs.
