Staff was super lovely and rooms were clean. Breakfast options were great, but it was a bit too much to eat. Outstanding view from the rooftop!

Hostel could work on a little bit with the cosyness, it was a bit bare and lacked warmness. A bit too pricy compared to other places and what you got with it.

Nothing really bad, the kitchen stuff got confused with my breakfast order , they didn’t found the sheet I filled out on my first day so I had to explain again But nothing too bad if you are telling earlier and don’t mind some changes in your order of fruits and food

I had the best sleep at this hostel and the breakfast was sooo good! Also it’s (relatively) close to little adam’s peak and nine arch bridge which was very convenient.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned once during the two nights that i spent here. Getting to the hostel can be challenging when it rains because of the hills which are also completely dark at night so be wary.

Beautiful view, big rooftop terrace, new, comfortable and clean beds, big breakfast included and really nice staff!

I'm guessing it really helped that I was the only person for 3 nights in a 4 bed dorm. But the beds are comfy. Everything is clean. Good water pressure and hot water. The view from the rooftop area is amazing.

Peacefully tucked away from the busy main road of Ella but still close enough to town and all the main attractions. Amazing roof top terrace where a huge breakfast is served every morning. Staff is super accommodating, friendly and great communication. Manager even dropped me at the station for no extra charge. Would 100% stay here again!

One of the hostels with the best view I've had the pleasure to stay at. Add a generous breakfast and a very helpful owner and you've got yourself a winner of a hostel just a 5 minute walk from the center. I had the misfortune to not have a lot of guests at the place to socialize with but some pool with the owner remedied the nagging solitude

No hot water, but I suppose in the Sri Lankan heat that's not too bad.

Really loved my stay at beyond nomad hostel. The room are very clean and the beds super comfy ! The hostel manager is adorable, very kind and helpful. The view is amazing. The only thing is the 5min walk road to the city center by night is a bit dark, so little scary for a woman solo traveler alone but srilanka is very safe.
