amazing views, comfortable bed, great location

missing a microwave and a TV. No on-site parking, however plenty of parking a cross the road ( none of these would stop me from staying there again).

"Lovely Seaside Home."

Beautiful location in Houghton Bay, house across the road from the beach. Little house had everything we needed. Ruth was a friendly, welcoming host and let us have a late check out. Late check out was very convenient for my disabled husband before we went to the Airport. Short trip to Wellington Airport. Great stay thanks Ruth.

The location was amazing. Great walks along the beachfront, and we loved being in the 'fish-bowl' and watching the world go by. The hige front windows are sensational for people-watching and just taking in the view. A very cosy and comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well appointed and has everything you'll need and more. Great fridge/freezer. Awesome shower, with sensational water pressure and great hot water. Lovely shower toiletries supplied. Washer and dryer and drying rack. Beds were really comfy and plenty of space to spread out in both bedrooms. Parking was directly across the road, and we didn't have any issues finding a park. Was lovely to meet the owner (Ruth), who was extremely responsive and gave us great local info.. Highly recommend 👌

It didn't really bother us, but there's no TV.

The view from the large windows is so good for the soul. Lovely walk to the lighthouse in the morning. Would have loved to explore the beautiful, clear rockpools directly over the road but ran out of time. Very clean, was the perfect location for us. Choccies on the clean bath towels on arrival, Coffee and fresh milk :)

If you're very used to a king bed, it's hard going smaller. I couldn't find the tea.

Very comfortable with all you need. No TV but I consider it as an advantage. The view from the window is much better! Not far from the city center. Free parking
