Staff were nice

Been travelling for 4 months around asia and this is the worst hostel i've stayed in yet (also the first review i've left as need people to know how bad it was). Beds were very uncomfortable, very thin camping style mattresses on the beds, no curtains..it's a shame because curtains could be installed easily. Food wasn't great, came out cold all the time. Was also quite dirty with bugs in the room. The worst part was the toilet and 'shower'. The shower was freezing cold and was a hand held type which they kept in the same water as the bum gun. Floor was always filthy as was shared between a lot of people. They didn't provide toilet paper either and sometimes the bum gun and shower didn't even work? Do not recommend, it is overpriced and prisoners have better conditions that this.

Quiet location about 10-15 minute walk into town!

1)Toilets were absolutely disgusting that I had to go into El Nido town in order to use the bathroom. They looked like they were from trainspotting… 2) showers were filthy and had no locks. The showers weren’t cleaned and rubbish and rusty nails laid on the floor. Completely sickening. 3) mattress was so thin that you might as well have laid on the wooden slats of the bunk bed! Uncomfortable! 4) aircon in rooms terrible 5) rooms filthy! 6) No phone service on the property and the only place with Wifi is the main reception building! 7) tiny storage lockers! These are my honest opinions and I have never stayed in a worse hostel in my life! The whole place has been completely neglected and shown a lack of care. The other hostels, hotels and BnB’s in the area looked lovely but I don’t know why this place, with sooo much potential has been neglected by its owners. Like 15-20 years out of date. Completely embarrassing. If you like basic, filthy, rundown accommodation then pick this place but if you want a good nights sleep and a simple shower then avoid!

The dorm was nice and cold at night.

The sheets on the bed were smelly and had not been washed. The drawers under the beds are not big enough for backpacks, so everyone's stuff is blocking the floor. There was one toilet for 16 people in the room, with no running water, not clean. The showers were the worst. Dirty concrete with a door that couldn't close, not one hook or shelf to put your towel or stuff.

There were close hanging on the bunk the bathroom door were broken it smelled bad it wasn’t clean in the common space it was crowded the wifi was next to none and when i said it wasn’t working the answer was there were alot of people using it the pool was empty and dirty you had to pass through the smoking area to go in and out

The staff working at the hostel were absolutely incredible. Truly felt like part of the family, and always welcomed in for a ride into town, help with any questions, around the table for a chat, or to go out. The common areas are really nice as well, with lots of seating options and you can book tours directly through the hostel.

Friendly staff. Good Common area. Affordable breakfast. Free coffee

The bed was uncomfortable. Tiny bathroom/shower.
