GBLocation is good, only a short walk to the city centre. Parking outside was easy, although just on the street. Room was very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were a nice addition.
Room felt a little tired, with decor and carpet. Mattress was quite soft.

The bed - will not call it bed. A board with springs protruding into every part of our body. The host JAY is inhumane in making money for such a shitty piece of trash. The bathroom sink is quarter the size of a normal sink!! The shower very shoddy water is seeping out while showering thus we have to clean the flood outside?? You can’t call this a studio just because you have a tiny nook for fridge microwave and kettle? More a child’s kitchen. On the last night after 5 nights of misery, From around 8:00 PM until approximately 4:30 AM, there was excessive noise from the guests above us, including yelling, profanity, and loud banging. The situation escalated to the point where we felt uncomfortable and fearful for our safety, especially when there were several knocks on our door. According to Airbnb’s Guest Refund Policy, guests have the right to request a refund for issues that severely impact their stay. Given the above circumstances the Host JAY refused to compensate. I am glad I never met that crook.
IEIt good and nice
GBAmple kitchen with plenty of utensils. Also sugar, tea and coffee. Very clean. 20 minutes walk to the castle. Nice and warm.
Bed was broken and mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept in. Springs stabbing me throughout the night. (This was reported and the answer was that they would inform the maintenance team) En suite small. No wardrobe, just a rail with a few hangers.
GBEasy checking in process, I just had one of the single rooms not the apartment flat but it was a clean and comfortable room with microwave, kettle, fridge and shower. Good price for a few nights and plenty of local shops and takeaways nearby, 10-15 min to walk to the train station end of town.
I hired a car for one day and tbh parking around the neighbourhood was very tight in the evening.
