Bay City Studio Apartments

Matress was a failure Blinds did not keep light out Noisy neighbours, kids screaming all night, glass smashing. Sea gulls started getting noisy at 3 am Tiniest of rooms, barely room to stand up. Location was not great Absolutely no sleep!!!

Well furnished, modern.

Quiet hours were not enforced - kept awake by people staying in neighbouring apartments. Rock hard mattress, very uncomfortable. Dirty - found a dead fly and ball of hair in the bathroom. Facilities not fit for purpose. Bathroom sink was tiny, so couldn’t fill the kettle or clean dishes. I was told that I had to authorise an additional deposit despite one already being authorised previously. So I had £150 pending against my account for more than a week!

Location was good. Walking distance to Cardiff city centre and free parking on the street. However, area didn't seem the safest.

The room was quite small, and since it was part of a house, you could easily hear when others came in or moved around. I was in Cardiff for the half marathon, so accommodation prices were significantly increased, and I ended up paying quite a lot for what it was. As a result, it didn’t feel like good value for money, although I imagine it would be much more reasonably priced on other weekends.

The location, the view.

Lack of cleanliness with dirty bedding including stains and bodily hair and old food in the fridge and little professionalism with little notice of a plumber coming into our room.

The room was lovely, modern and the sheets were nice and clean. Perks were the room had a small fridge and a microwave.

The pillows and quilt were very thin, and with the freezing temperatures we had, I found they were not sufficient. However, there were heaters in the room, but they made the air dry, which made me cough most of the night.

Lugar tranquilo, limpio, tal como aparece en las fotos, situación perfecta para ir tanto a la bahía como al centro, todo muy cerca.
