Fantastisch hotel! Magische locatie met prachtig uitzicht en super lief personeel. Gastvrouw May was de liefste meid ooit en ze zorgen dat alles naar wens is. Dit is echt een verborgen parel die je moet boeken!! Kamer super comfortabel en heerlijk ontbijt. Met echte koffie :). Zoek niet verder

Amazing location! Stunning views, amazing birds and butterflies! Wish we could have stayed a lot longer! Though this hotel is out of town, they offer free transport to town by boat or van, so you have the stunning location AND convenience!

The large rooms, comfortable bed and pillows, the views are incredible. The staff are friendly and the boat shuttle to the town is great. Breakfast was great with lots of fresh fruit and good coffee

The pool was a little unclean, it may be that its rainy season so it was getting a lot of rain, but it was great to have a pool in such an amazing area

Everything! I literally stayed on the balcony for the whole day without doing anything but just enjoying the view and time. All staff especially the driver are super kind. Imagine you are in nature but you have AC, WiFi, hot water, cold beer - there is nothing else more you could expect.

This is one of those places that you won't forget and you'll want to return to. The staff are incredible - so professional, so kind and always helpful. I loved everything about staying here - especially the intense sense of calm it bestows upon you. Highly recommended.

This is really a luxury resort: The location is beautiful, the rooms have balconies with great views of the mountain, river and pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there was always someone around to ask things, and easy to contact them via WhatsApp. I was initially planning to rent a scooter but didn't because the shuttle service by boat from the hotel was much nicer! This resort is really beautiful: the pool has an amazing view, and it is very quiet. The resort rents out kayaks, which is a nice way to explore the surroundings. The room was very pretty, large and clean, and they offered to clean it every day. I stayed here in low season so the price was lower (£25/night), and this is really the best quality that you will get in Laos for this price. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to really enjoy the nature and peace in Nong Khiaw, but still easily go into town with the shuttle service to do hikes or activities. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The food was too expensive, but that is usually the case when you stay outside of town. Yes there are insects, you are in nature. But they were only small, nothing scary.

Nong Khiaw is beautiful, the resort is peaceful and idyllic. The off-season prices were good value.

Before down points, it is important to acknowledge Laos is extremely poor and providing the consistently high comfort that 1st world is used to is incredibly hard and expensive. That said, the resort needs maintenance: the boards around the pool are loose and rusty screws stick out, the pool tiles are broken at the bottom. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with young kids. The air conditioning and fly wire screens in the bedrooms are not effective because windows have shutters rather than glass, and the screens don’t completely cover the doors. Mosquito nets would be awesome.
