Lake of basic kitchen utensils. Washing machine door not functioning properly. The fact that it's advertised as three bedrooms whylist it's two bedrooms.

Dreadful. Unclean property. Linen was not washed & dirty delph in presses. Water was either hot or scalding. Furniture was of poor quality or broken. A bathroom in a wardrobe, Unsafe wiring.

Great location in the heart of the city. Comfortable & clean. Lovely host.

The apartment was in a dilapidated building. Great that it is central but the building is located in an undesirable location. As soon as we walked in the apartment stunk of smoke, which the host tried to dismiss even though there was cigarette butts left on the floor. The windows were wide open to obviously air the apartment out but this was very unsafe with a toddler, as the apartment was in the first floor. The windows had no keys so we could not lock them to prevent our toddler from potentially (they wouldn't but others might) opening the window. This is in breach of the Registration Regulations for Holiday Apartments & Holiday Cottages that is in place in Ireland. It is also a legal requirement that all holiday properties in Ireland are registered with National Tourism Development Authority Fáilte Ireland. The host has said it is registered but when I have raised a complaint with Fáilte Ireland, they have advised that the property is not registered. I'm shocked that booking.com has allowed this. We had a number of issues with the property. A strong odor of smoke that is causing health issues, even after attempting to mask it with Febreze. A cigarette butt left on the floor. Old milk and a coke bottle left in the fridge. Broken washing machine door handle. Fake nails under the doormat. Filthy shower head. Windows with no keys to lock, which is unsafe with a toddler. Crusty blanket found under the sofa bed. Someone else’s hair on the bedding. Stains on the sofa. Insufficient cups for six people, despite the apartment being advertised to accommodate this number. These conditions fall far below the standards expected for a clean, safe, and well-equipped environment. We left after one night and requested a refund which the host tried to not pay the full amount for the remaining 2 nights. Only when I raised the regulations and asked if they were registered, did they refund the correct amount. Avoid at all costs.
