Enchanting 2BDR Townhouse in Valletta Centre!

Communication with the staff was the worst.

Bardzo korzystna lokalizacja, klimatyczna uliczka - jedna z najstarszych i najbardziej historycznych ulic w Valletcie. Apartament wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne urządzenia. Klimatyzacja w sypialniach zbawienna i niezastąpiona :) Urocze wnętrze, w którym czuło się ducha historii samej Malty.

Absolutely gorgeous place, nicely appointed, beautifully restored. The location was fantastic.

This isn't really a negative - just noting for future travelers who have mobility issues - the bathroom is on the 1st floor and bedrooms are both upstairs. You have to be careful on the stairs in the middle of the night.

This is beautiful accommodation. Very clean, excellent presentation. Had everything we needed. Super close to everything in Valletta. Side note for international travellers, they use UK power plugs but there was an adapter for the EU one we had. The photos shown are exactly how it looks.

The main bed is just a double.

Extremely damp, moldy, and unhealthy – avoid this place! We had a very unpleasant stay in this apartment. To begin with, we had to wait an hour past the agreed check-in time before we were given access – not a great start. The apartment was advertised as having two bedrooms, but this was misleading. In reality, there was only one proper bedroom. The second “bedroom” was just a sofa bed placed at the top of the stairs, in an open space that you had to walk through to reach the actual bedroom – offering no privacy at all. The humidity inside was extremely high, and the entire first floor had a strong, unpleasant odor. It was also freezing cold, with no heating at all. Instead of addressing the moisture and mold issues, the hosts had installed automatic scent machines that sprayed artificial perfume throughout the day. This only made the smell worse and did nothing to fix the real problem. Visible mold was found on the ceilings, walls, in the bathroom, and around the kitchen, which also had a strong musty and moldy smell. The first floor had a persistent odor that made it uncomfortable to be there for long periods. We were genuinely concerned about our health. Several members of our group experienced itching and a burning sensation in the throat after staying in the apartment, likely due to the mold and poor air quality. This apartment is not properly maintained and should not be rented out in this condition. We would absolutely not recommend staying here – especially not for families or anyone with allergies, asthma, or sensitivity to mold or bad air.
