Fitzroy Terrace by Property Promise

Basic and clean. WiFi was good close to city centre. House was warm. Smart tv with Netflix and Disney channel 👍 clean towels in rooms .shops and takeaways, pubs all walking distance 5 to 10 minutes. I would stop here again if working in area .good value.

Tv has a few lines at the top of screen not bad must have got damaged at some point did read on old review. A bit noisy at night as I think a few of the houses near by are student housing. Parking is practically impossible on the roads near by ( but they have a place 2 minutes walk where they let you park which is all good .

There are plenty of places to eat out if desired. The street is quiet. Beds are comfortable. The heating is in good working order.

The kitchen had no cooking essentials, for example, no oven trays, no oven dish. Couldn't use the hobs as no usable sauce pans. One hob was also out of order. There are no markings for the temperature on the cooker either. We weren't able to eat a healthy meal. No communication from owners apart from instructions before arrival. One message that we felt was quite offensive. Stating no smoking marijana. On arrival, there was a smell of cigarettes and marijana. Cupboards under sink locked, assuming the cleaners' equipment. Back garden full of previous customers stuff scattered. An ashtray full of cigarette butt's with water. Rubbish is a health hazard, potentially attracts rats. Poor service in general. Very dissatisfied

Ease of booking and comms were quick

Pics are outdated. For what we stayed for, it was fine - we literally just slept there - but the owner needs to invest in a serious deep clean. Stained carpets, sofa, tv has line through it. The shower is a glorified dribble with a broken head holder. Pa there is a small water leak from radiator pipe in the bathroom. Beds were far comfier than I was expecting after reading reviews.

All the house my be refurbished ASAP

The location is in one of the most dangerus and dirty areas in Cardiff. You can smell weed from neighbours. The street is filled with trash bags. When you enter the property it also smells wet. They put carpet on the concrete. The kitchen smells alcohol. The garden outside poorly maintained with black rubish beans. Very small garden you can't use it it is just long grass and rubbish.

I paid for 3 nights, as soon as I entered the property I just couldn't stay there, I couldn't seat on a sofa. It looked dirty. The property looks lovely on pictures, but it is absolutely disgasting with stains everywhre and so hard to seat. I tried to communicate with property but the phone that they privided wasn't in use. I had leave it and went to the nearest park to try to find something else. This is a scam property, don't book it there.
