As per all other reviews a very mixed bag, the location is cool, provided you don't mind driving a little out of the way. Not an issue, easy enough to find
As per other reviews, and I recommend you read worst to best using a filter. The place is in dire need of a proper clean, and I mean a proper clean. Unacceptable amount of ingrained stickyness on about everything around the kitchen. Other places just had stuff smeared around. The bedding arrangement altough looking quirky in the pictures is a total deathtrap if you're even remotely unsteady on your feet. Internet didn't work,WIFI was ok but no connection to WWW, host finally replied to my message 10 min after we left the next day. Towels made of water repellant material

Great location and stay for our way from Christchurch Airport to Castle hill. The Cabin was really nice—inside facilities were clean and comfortable, and the setting was great. Loved the beautiful view outside!
