Henberry first floor cosy apartment

This is a lovely, peaceful place to stay. The accommodation is very quirky and was immaculately presented and very well equipped. Thank you to the hosts for an enjoyable stay, and we will return in the future.😊

Very nice compact apartment.Was meeting my. cousin's who were staying at the Rose and Crown for 2 days of walking.Apartment very comfortable and well equipped.Exelent.

Very comfortable and well equipped

It's an attractive and quirky place to stay and the location is beautiful and ideal for the surrounding area.

Unfortunately our stay was marred by problems from the start. On entry to the accommodation at about 8 pm, after a very long, wet and freezing day on the Pennine Way, the accommodation was cold and uncomfortable to relax in. After trying to turn on the heating and log onto the internet which were both unsuccessful, I messaged the owner about the internet and only received a reply to rectify the internet the following afternoon after acknowledging there was an issue with the password. This was also when i realised the heating was still not working, I once again contacted the owner about the heating to find out the heating is only on for a few hours a day and was due to come soon, with the weather being near freezing over the past few days and in the winter months this is not acceptable to expect guests to suffer in bitter coldness. After a few hours the heating was rectified but the correction was too late and should not have happened in the first place. Then on the second evening the internet crashed and was informed by the owner they couldn't do anything about it as the router was in the lower accommodation, which was now occupied and they were using the full power of the internet and thus stopping any internet reaching the upper floor, the owners reply was poor and that she couldn't do anything about it. Overall this stay was poor and made my adventure for the weekend something I don't want to remember.
