A quiet village setting

The accommodation needs a good spring clean, had to wash kitchen equipment, the toaster full of breadcrumbs, just basics after each visitor. All the furniture needs pulling out and cleaning. Way too many cobwebs which have clearly been there for some time. Very disappointing stay

Lovely place very cosy everything you need.Amazing views .Bed is very comfortable .Tidy / Clean and just perfect...or and thankyou for the toothbrush....knew we would forget something.Will be back next year for sure.Only wish I had booked for more than 1 night.

Lovely litlle village location, very quiet and ideally situated for exploring the countryside. Excellent pub 3 minutes walk away

Everything was perfect, relaxing stay

Village was lovely. No shops but two pubs. For an unusual experience--try getting a drink at the Kirk Inn. I failed. Think it is run by Albert Steptoe. Take waders if you intend to use the gents, or a pick up truck if you need anything for a DIY project. The apartment had quite a lot of oldish furniture, intermixed with modern facilities and electricals. Very comfortable and I could have stayed longer. Helpful host.

Could have been a sign at gate saying Henberry cottage was there. Says something like. Baldlock. I went away on first arriving and went back to the village to get directions.

Lovely location, great spot to explore Teesdale from. private parking. Great food at the Rose and Crown, fascinating pre dinner drink at the Kirk Inn!
