Very clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. I was fishing on the Tees - ideal location. Very quiet and within walking distance of superb pubs.

Lovely flat in spotless condition, in a beautiful village and countryside. Serenaded by owls!

Trying to find the property in the dark! Would REALLY have helped if a name-plate 'Henberry' was at the entrance gate visible from the lane, and additional info was given in the directions ie. ...Water Gap is the turning off the main road at the sharp bend between church and pubs. Marked as a no through road. Follow it straight down past the green all the way to the end. Thanks

Village and location is spectacular. High force is a must see and only 20 mins away. Apartment was cosy and neat and tidy. Extremely fairly priced for location and apartment standard.

Directions to the apartment could have been much better explained. House was advertised as Henberry apartments, but the building was signed as something like balcot holiday cottages. Perhaps it was just us, but it took us nearly 30 mins to find the apartment.

Good location for walking and exploring the area. Comfortable bed, hot water, good WiFi, washing machine and tumble dryer- quiet restful break away

It would have been good to be able to control the heating- a chilly mid August evening took us by surprise! The bath is not full size.

It was a good base for hikes in the neighbourhood. The garden was nice and the bathroom was quite new. It was nice to find a small bottle of milk and of juice in the fridge.

'Cosy' has to be read as 'tiny', because the appartement was just that. The bed was super hard and narrow and the duvet much too warm for this time of year. There were no additional (thinner) blankets. It surprised me that there was a cake tin in kitchen, but no deeper frying pan. The garden was nice, but the chairs were old and uncomfortable. The room is only suitable for small pets.
