We had a pleasant stay at The Horseshoe Inn. The lady at reception was very friendly and immediately made us feel welcome. Our room was clean, and the air-conditioning was a real relief given how hot it was. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices, which was very convenient and enjoyable.

The only downside was the bathroom vanity, which has clearly seen better days and appears to have some water damage.

There is nothing I didn't like it makes you feel at home and even better

The location is easy to find.

The white bedding and towels were yellow and full of black spots. The place was dusty and ant heaps were all over the room, seems like the room was not cleaned in a while. We were itching until I decided to go take out our fleece blankets we travel with and slept on top of them. If my husband and I were traveling alone we were going to pack up and drive to Klerksdorp immediately but we were with our kids and didn't want them to sit for another 4 hours so late in the evening. The people coming from the bar ref their bikes and cars late in the evenings and make noise right infront of our room because that's where they park when using the bar on the premises.
