Condes de Azevedo Palace Apartments

Excellent location, clean and friendly check-in process. Free Parking was perfect for families travelling with cars. Good Amenities, good size bedrooms, two full bathrooms plus one washroom on the first floor, and walking distance to many attractions.

The staff was very nice and helpful. It was great that there was a 24 hour concierge, except the problem was that we arrived at night and had no idea how to enter the building. Luckily I spotted some Americans coming out of the building who were so nice and willing to help us. They scanned the door and let us in and the reception desk was there. We had to wait a minute or two for the concierge to return, but then we were able to check in. We had apartment number 19 which was huge and it had a washing machine in the kitchen (it dries too but it's pretty well known that the dry functionality on these types of units doesn't work very well). The second bedroom is up more stairs. It is a 2 minute walk from a great cafe (go left outside the building and around the corner) that has amazing pastries. In general the location is great, however it sits at the top of the hill. You will do a LOT of climbing and walking up hill to get back from restaurants and historical buildings.

Apartment 19 (2 bedroom) is VERY VERY LOUD, most especially in the downstairs bedroom. One night some students were apparently chanting on the street- up until midnight and then they started again at 3am!!!! It was like they were right next to the bedroom window. You can also hear the motorcycles and other traffic at night. They need provide better instructions on how to enter the building. "Walk up the steps outside to the door with the green awning (there is also a sign on that wall and I'm sorry I can't remember what it says). If it's after hours knock - hard?" We spent about 15-20 minutes trying to figure out how to get into the condos. This property has a LOT of stairs: There is a large set of stairs to get into the building. There is only an elevator to take you from floor zero to floor 1. If you're in 18 or 19 (ours) you then have another 1.5 flight of stairs to get to the apartment. If you cannot climb stairs or have mobility issues this is not the place for you.

Excelente ubicación, lugar muy amplio para estacionar dentro del hotel, muy lindo patio exterior con mesas. Cómoda habitación para ir con niños. Personal muy amable. Excelente alternativa para quedarse en Oporto.

The location was excellent. A few minutes walk to attractions, tour meeting points and restaurants. The apartment is beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable.
