"Good"

The location is good, with access to the Cumbrian Way path which ran through the property. The tuck shop cafe was very nice. Parking was good. The DVD collection was good.

Was disappointed to learn that the dog was required to stay in the small kitchen after having paid an additional £60 for the 3 nights. This should have been raised at the time of the initial booking.

Fantastic location. Extremely peaceful.

We didn't realise as we booked through booking.com there would be an extra charge for our dogs as this wasn't made clear, plus the accommodation wanted them to remain in the kitchen area throughout the whole stay. This made it very challenging given it was an extremely small space. Anyone with a large dog would really struggle with the size of the accommodation. Apparently the charges were on their website but we didn't know this, we were charged the extra amount after we had booked.

There wasn't Dinosaurs walking round in the land they live in... Like Jurassic Park....

We had a fantastic stay. The location was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful. The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well thought out. Communication throughout was excellent and made everything really easy. Overall, a great experience and somewhere we would happily return to. Highly recommend.

Location for walks and price.

The wifi is un reliable and there are only 2 channels on the TV due to signal. Recommend taking firestick and connecting it to your phone 5g like we did by chance. No games etc in the room which would of been handy with such bad tv signal. Take your own entertainment.

"I only saw 1 member of staff and was a lady. The rudest lady I’ve ever come across"

The location was brilliant very quiet just what we wanted

The fact we had no running water. The lady couldn’t be more unhelpful and we left a day early would never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone if you’re planning on showering and using the toilet. Please see below to her solution of water! The bottle looked like it had been run over and wasn’t even full!
