Nice & quiet really dark skies, beautiful for stargazing

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, piled high in the centre, I felt like I was going to fall off!

The barn was really cosy! Everything we needed was provided, kitchenware, towels, super comfy bed! etc. Wonderful place to stay for a short getaway to the Lake District.

"Enjoyable weekend"

Lovely place in a peaceful setting. Didn't see any staff, I imagine, because we were in the self-catering barn, in which you are expected to strip your own bedding. Great facilities, but not as dog friendly as we'd thought, dogs are expected to stay in the entrance area only.
