LUXURY SEA BLUE-Birmingham central apartment

Fantastic location for a shopping trip in Birmingham as only a 10 minute walk into town. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was excellent and so helpful, answering all my queries very quickly.

It was a bit noisy at night but only due to single glazing and being in such a central location.

Drains were blocked and host insisted on deposit to stay regardless of our genius history and being hosts ourselves. Communication was patchy and the facilities were tired and a paint work was tatty.

It was cold, rundown, uncomfortable, dirty, nothing like the photos.

Property was reasonably priced as divided between 3 of us.

-No central heating, so we had to keep coats on and wait several hours to heat the place using small wall heaters. - Despite communicating with the property (immediately after booking) to confirm there would be bedding for sofa bed, on arrival, there was NO BEDDING for SOFA BED. After contacting owner, he offered to bring bedding over, however this would have meant us staying in for the evening to meet him, and we planned to go out for dinner. As a result of us not being able to use sofa bed, we couldn’t have a room each as planned. -The TV remote didn’t work, so we had to change batteries over from other remote. (One remote had no batteries at all)Remote was open at top with no covering at one end. This took a while to manage. -No door hooks at all on any doors. -One of the light fittings in hall wasn’t working. -No plug or bowl in kitchen sink to do washing up. -No plug in en-suite bathroom washbasin. -Standard lamp in lounge/diner flickered, then went out. -Kitchen units faulty/damaged. -Tea, coffee and sugar were provided, but no milk, so we weren’t able to make hot drinks. -Location much further from city centre than expected. The property is in very poor condition. The stay was disappointing and regrettable as the accommodation was nothing like the photos.

Location was excellent, 15 minutes from the station and very secure car park. Good amenities and comfy beds

Rooms were a little chilly with so had to have heating on to get to the right temp which took an amount of time

They guy met earlier than the check in time , paid 20 pounds extra for that

The apartment isnt like it is in picture. There is nothing luxury. I paid for 3 nights and not stayed for 1 night even . You can sum that up.

Walkable to the city centre and had nice things to do near by.

The living/dining/ kitchen area smelt like dirty mops, an air fresher had been added to cover the smell but only made it worse. It was so unbearable the room was unusable for the whole trip and we were reduced to sitting in the bedrooms. The floor was sticky and our shoes were sticking as soon as we walked in. The bathroom had mould all around the edges on the bath and shower. There was also hair in the shower and neither sink or shower drained properly so the bottom of the shower was full before you even stepped in. There was a stray false eye lash on the bedroom floor. The bedding also had stains on. It was impossible to sleep with being able to hear every single person that walked past the window outside, it was quite scary.

Location, free parking & modern decoration.

It was freezing cold, took forever to warm up the apartment, no toilet roll and we had to collect the keys from a different property.
