Good location very spacious

We really liked the location of the apartment. It was quick to get uber and get around to where we wanted to go such as bullring. It was ground floor and easy to access. The host was good with communication. Apartment was very spacious.

There was a strange smell in the apartment as you enter so we used alot of air freshener. The en suite bathroom had a smell, both bathroom fans didn’t seem to be working so it was difficult sharing bathrooms with people doing a number 2 and waiting for smell to disappear. Air freshener didn’t always solve the problem. There wasn’t a-lot of toilet roll. There was certain things in the property that were already broken so we was anxious if we would get our deposit back as we wasn’t told about these broken things and we didn’t want the host to turn around and say we broke it, had to go around taking pictures of it all as evidence it was broken when we arrived. There was no fan or AC, was very hot and windows barely opened. The property needs a-lot of things fixed such as wardrobe sliding doors, locks on bathroom door, kitchen drawer, clothes rail etc. Room with 2 beds, the double bed mattress spring was poking out a bit. The mattress was too soft. Other then that the apartment was ok.

Location was good with secure parking

Everything in the apartment was a bit tired, lots of broken bits, definitely not “luxury” (door handles, blinds, wardrobe door). Noisy during the night and the broken blinds made the rooms very bright.

Central location was close to shops, bars and a variety food establishments. Very clear instructions for entry and all messages were responded to in a prompt timing. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay again.

I have no complaints about the property, Please, bear in mind you do have to send £200, bank transfer as a damage deposit, before arrival and this was not made clear on the booking.com site, however, this is probably why the property is maintained in such a high standard.

Location of the property was excellent and near to the places we needed to get to including The Bull Ring for eating and leisure and to Edgbaston for the cricket.

Bathroom facilities were average with water gathering in the ensuite shower and no mats for the floor or hand towels provided. Mattresses were very uncomfortable.

would have loved some toilet roll as had a 3 hour drive and to told it was the abacus apartment as found it really hard to find but overall was a lovely property with secure parking too 😀
