Northness Apartments, Lerwick Self Contained

This was perfect for a couple - small, but well equipped (including a washing machine) and it was super-central: a 5-minute walk into the town centre and right opposite the main bus station. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and replied quickly to questions. It was exactly what we wanted and needed for our stay.

The location was exceptional, being very close to bus stops, shops and cafes. The flat was very well equipped and comfortable. The owner was generous in letting me in as early as possible. There were information leaflets about some of the activities possible.

Although never very cold inside, the weather was very chilly outside and I thought that a little more heating would have been better. To be fair I did not ask the owner how to use the heaters. I found the key box quite difficult to operate.

I travelled to Lerwick for work. The host were very accommodating and allowed me to checkin very early as I was coming of the 7:30am ferry. The location was very convinient and parking right outside. The bed was comfortable and the whole house was very clean. I would also recommend the Thai restaurant across the road.

Can't think of anything worth mentioning

This accommodation was in the perfect position for exploring Lerwick on foot. Very close to the esplanade, eateries, pubs all in the centre of town. Great,central position for exploring the rest of the island by car. Clean, comfortable and well-managed, evident from the concise instructions given for how to access the unit. We received a warm welcome because the hosts had heated the lounge/kitchen for our arrival. 2pm for checking in and 11pm for checking out was generous. Communication was a breeze and efficient. Thanks for hosting us!
