Northness Apartments, Lerwick Self Contained

Location to town and bus stop, roomy. Made very good use of the space and nice little treats.

Light industrial location but still felt safe

Great location, clean and well presented.

The sleeping area was very tight with the double bed against one wall and not much room on the other side.

We loved our stay here. Apartment is basic but clean and cosy, and a few minutes walk from the centre of Lerwick and the ferry terminal. Our ferry arrived early in the morning and the host accommodated an early check-in for us and was very quick to respond to our message. Good value for money and would recommend.

Location couldn't be better - 2 minutes from the shore, 5 minute walk to the centre of town, and the same distance to the excellent Shetland Museum. Space to park a car, and close to public transport. A lovely historic house (there are photos inside of the house and its surroundings as they were circa 150 years ago) which has been well-maintained and doesn't creak and groan like some old properties do: it's solid and everything worked fine. Nice lounge with comfy sofas, attractive kitchen and nice bedrooms. Good wifi. And don't believe the myths about there being no trees in Shetland - there's a lovely big tree in the front garden! Owners helpful and easy to contact. We've rented lots of properties via Booking.com and this is one of our absolute favourites! And Shetland is just magic !!

We loved everything!

The location was good. The bed was very comfy. The kitchen facilities were good. The place was easily heated, and warm.

The rules that the owners had laid out. It felt like they were making stipulations that seemed a little mid-20th century.
