Location perfect 😘

The bath rooms has now shelves or hanging hooks . Wet shower not for me. But over all . Very comfortable. The right place to unwind and re charger.

"A magical cottage in the mountains with its very own lake."

The sheer beauty and isolation of a very well equipped cottage, with its very own lake is unmatched. The completely modern and brand new appliances was awesome. Canoeing on the lake just completed a most beautiful stay. Our Labrador Jinx was with us, and she loved the space of a large enclosed garden for her. A definite 10/10.

There was nothing not to like. The only slightly scary thing was crossing the Dam wall in a low sedan car when it was raining and the water was high. However we made it, and it added to the adventure. An awesome stay.

The location is absolutely stunning—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our dogs had a fantastic time exploring the spacious, fenced-in garden around the cottage. The views of the dam from the bedrooms and lounge were breathtaking. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. We also appreciated the generous supply of firewood and charcoal for braaing. A truly wonderful stay!

There was nothing to dislike about our stay! We did have a little trouble reaching the host and locating the property initially, but thankfully, we were able to find someone at the farmhouse to assist us. Having a backup contact number would be a great addition for extra peace of mind.
