Twin Waters Resort

Everything about this place was exceptional. The location is stunning and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the property itself is beautifully designed and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The food was delicious, fresh, and varied. Overall, the atmosphere was relaxing and luxurious — easily the best accommodation we stayed at in Sri Lanka.

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Great location with balcony view of lagoon and all the wildlife. Chalets were very comfortable, spacious and clean. Swimming pool was lovely and a good size. To top it off the beach was at the end of the garden. Perfect!

We wanted somewhere to just relax at the beginning of our month-long adventure in Sri Lanka after a few very stressful weeks. We chose Twin Waters as a place in the middle of nowhere to listen to the birds and ocean. It did not disappoint. Eddie and his family were a joy to stay with and offer a unique hospitality experience. Extremely comfortable and clean rooms. Great pool. What an incredible way to start our adventure in Sri Lanka. Amazing bird life too.

Nothing - it was exactly what we wanted. Remote but not too far from anywhere we wanted to visit.

My partner and I had the best time here. A truly beautiful location with the beach literally on your doorstep. Definitely a place to completely relax and get away from the noise of the cities. Eddie and his family made us feel instantly at home with their hospitality and delicious cooking. So glad we came here even if it was for only 1 night. Hopefully have the chance to come back in the future!

That we didn't book a longer stay

Отель располагается в настоящей рыбацкой деревне внутри заповедника, между океаном и рекой. Обалденный вид на реку и заповедник из домиков, можно увидеть много необычных птиц. Если пойти гулять по дороге через заповедник можно увидеть обезьян, мангустов, варанов. В отеле несколько домиков, очень тихо и много персонала на небольшое количество гостей. Готовят огромные порции, довольно вкусно (по меркам Шри Ланки). Большой и красивый бассейн с видами и на океан и на реку. Номер нормальный, насекомых внутри нет.

В радиусе километра есть пара киосков с минимальным ассортиментом, но ближайший нормальный магазин в часе ходьбы, кафе тем более. PickMe/Uber из этого отеля не заберет (но персонал может позвонить заказать туктук)

Wir wurden so herzlich aufgenommen und der Service war umwerfend. Nachmittags wurde uns eine Kokosnuss auf das Zimmer gebracht. Das Curry abends war super lecker. Die Lage direkt am Strand einmalig. Man muss es allerdings mögen, dass man ziemlich abgeschieden ist. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Frukosten var riklig och mycket god. Mycket vänlig och välkomnade atmosfär. Värdparet var otroligt tillmötesgående och hjälpsamma. All personal var mycket vänlig. Maten var utsökt. Omgivningarna väldigt fridfulla och vi njöt av det rika fågellivet och strandpromenaderna.

De service was echt geweldig. Er werd ontzettend goed met ons meegedacht om het voor ons en onze kleine kinderen zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken.

Er is niks wat ze beter of anders hadden kunnen doen.
