Shawn and his boys were fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome and part of the family - going out of their way to ensure we had the best time. The accomodation was just outside the city so it was nice and peaceful - easy to get local bus or pickmes into main Kandy. Facilities were great - it was nice to have a hot shower and access to a kitchen and living area. We also loved the added bonus of being around dogs! Would highly recommend and hope to stay again when we’re back in Sri Lanka in the future

The host Mr shawn was very caring and attentive guy, his care for his guests was exceptional, very helpful. This property is recommended to every tourist coming to Kandy for low budget choice. Complete value for the money.

We loved the energy of the place as soon as we stepped in (nothing better than three wagging tails welcoming you after a long trip all the way from Turkey🇹🇷). Perfectly clean,cosy decor,lovely room, and a kitchenette to top it all off. Let alone the lovely accommodation, Shawn, the host, was incredibly thoughtful. He accompanied us from the minute we booked until we reached our station to leave. He even prepared a tasty brunch for us since we were starving. Even more,he gave us lots of recommendations from shops to events and must visits. We are more than satisfied. We would give a 20 out of 10 if possible.

Honestly, I don't have anything I don't like.

Mr. Shawn is friendly, he was very helpful in all my efforts. your accommodation has everything you need for cooking, and all this just a stone's throw from the jungle. it is very easy to arrive by bus from Kandy, or to go there. The bus station, the terminus is 3 minutes from the accommodation. I highly recommend.

I regret not having had time to go to the nearby jungle. I will have to come back.

Shawn is a very helpful host. We did not need much of his help, but he offered help with setting everything up in Kandy. He speaks perfect English. The value for price is extremely high. Booking.com overbooked our room, so we got a free upgrade to a room with a private washroom, which was nice. The accommodation is in a calm locality close to Kandy. The linen and towels were very clean and there were plenty of them. The villa is equipped with all you might need for a longer stay, except washing machine.

Be aware it is not rent of the whole villa, just a room with shared lobby, kitchen and bathroom. We were a bit confused by the Booking descriptions. The room we got after the upgrade (the one with one large bed and one small bed) had extremely uncomfortable mattresses. They were very hard, it felt like sleeping on a wooden plank. While they might be of a good, medical, quality, unfortunately it meant two sleepless nights and backache in the following days for us. The private bathroom was not perfectly clean. There were stains next to the toilet bowl, old soap in the dispensers and similar details.
