Great location and access to lovely beach

We recently returned from our trip to Grenada. We are a family of five (Two adults and kids ages 14, 12, and 10). We stayed at three places while visiting Grenada and Mount Cinnamon was by far our favorite. The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities were beautiful and unique, and the breakfast was delicious! We stayed in two bedroom villa which was comfortable and well equipped for our family. It was a hike up and down from our villa but we enjoyed the daily exercise. The view from our villa could not be beat and worth the hike. I would not recommend if you have anyone in your party that has trouble walking. There is a shuttle, but it takes time (everyone is on island time). The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The resort always felt quiet and serene. I was worried about the pool not being kid friendly, but it was perfect - never crowded but several families used it during our stay. My kids loved the beach and available activities (beach volleyball, tennis, cornhole, table tennis etc.). It was windy while we were there, so waves at this end of Grand Anse are a bit stronger, but my kids enjoyed body surfing. As you walk more north the water was calmer. There were some water activities that were not available because the water was a little rough while we were there so we could not enjoy the paddle boarding. We ate at the Flying Fish and Savvys's (at the beach) including the Friday night Bonfire dinner which I would recommend. The food in all the restaurants was delicious, but its all pricey and takes awhile. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Mount Cinnamon and I would highly recommend for a family looking to enjoy beautiful Grenada!

The one small disappointment for our stay at Mount Cinnamon was there was no washing machine in our villa. There should have been, but machine was removed. It would have been helpful if someone let us know before we figured it out on our own. When we asked the front desk about our options, they said unfortunately there is nothing they could do. Since we were staying at multiple locations we were really looking forward to having a place to wash our clothes, so it was disappointing when we found the machine was no longer there.

Location and facilities. Beautiful views from room and balcony. Short 1-2 min steep walk from room to beach area which was very nice.

While the front desk staff was lovely and very welcoming, the vibe and service we got from the wait staff for the restaurants and bars was not great.
