Half Pint

Half Pint was exactly as we expected, had all the facilities one would wish for, was very clean and the host was very helpful. She saw us old ones struggling to open the lock box and was there immediately, we asked for help in turning on the heating about half an hour later and she was there straight away - thank you! She also gave us directions as to where our wee dog could be walked also how to find the place where we had booked in for dinner.

As a glamping site the place was wonderful; do not stay here expecting a regular hotel room. The Half Pint was 2 room, 2 bathroom with kitchenette for the same price as a basic room elsewhere nearby. The room was quiet, well insulated and heated, everything was clean and functional. The bed was fine, not great but on par with other budget hotels. Will absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Only one minor issue, there was what sounded like a piece of loose sheet metal flapping outside in the wind all night.

Everyone was very friendly

The shower drain had hairs in it and there was a stain on the couch and on the pillow in my bed. Place could have defo been cleaner
