"More 3 star than 4"

Food was good Room was spacious.

No phone in the room, so had to go up and order room service at the reception desk. Once ordered, the food took over 2 hrs to arrive. The included wifi wasn't available. There was mold in the room and the beds were uncomfortable and created loudly when you moved.

Hard to reach location with very narrow driveway. Few parking spots with no room to turn around the car. Small overpriced rooms. Staff is very slow, no welcome attitude and lazy except manager. No water provided at the start of the meal. Food served very late drinks served after finishing the meal.

location was good

Breakfast there wasn't much option, as the options were limited. Rooms windows were broken and was unable to close it. during our check out there was no staff in the counter.

"Superb"

Clean big rooms, great view from the balcony. Nice and new hotel, very clean room and bathroom. The staff was very welcoming. We had an early departure directly to Yala safari (2 am) and they have packed us breakfast to go and a couple of bottles of water, which was an amazing touch. Hot water with good pressure. The food was very good. This was one of our best accommodations in our trip through Sri Lanka.

The water from the shower was not draining very well - might have been just an isolated incident.

"Good place, but remote location and average guest service experience provided."

The food was excellent, and custom made by Chef Henry according to the group requirements. There was a bit of waiting time, but that is forgiven considering that the food is freshly prepared.

Crappy internet in rooms plus no way to contact front desk as there are no phones in the room. TV was not working either. Location was a bit remote, and the property seemed short on staff and looked more like a home managed business.

"If you want to take the train to Ella this hotel is a good choice"

Comfortable room, clean, accommodating staff, nice views, small infinity pool , new hotel

No Internet in the room Uncomfortable high pillows Location outskirt of Kandy but close to train station. If you want to go to Kandy itself is far, if you want to grab the train to go to the next city is perfect
