Beautiful homestead! Perfect location just around the corner from a great pub meal!!

It was a quite place.

It was hot in the room. would have been good to have a fan in the room.

Bed was comfy and good shower

Being forced to take my shoes off and given a pair of Chinese slippers that did not fit and were darn right dangerous on the stairs. The WIFI is next to useless, couldn't even look at FB or TM, speed measured at less than 1 gig. Before I went out for tea I asked for a key, they said the door will be unlocked, get home from tea and the door was locked. I had to bang on door for ten minutes before another guest came down to let me in, but he couldn't because it was locked from the inside with a key, he found the staff, then the three staff had a five-minute conversation/argument before finally letting me in!!! Massive fire hazard being locked up in this 150 years tinderbox villa. Not one of the three staff spoke English. Absolutely shocking and will be reported to the NZ Fire Service and local council.

Beautiful old house. I was told by the local driver that it is the most beautiful house in town.

Having own bathroom, comfort, size of place and accomodity of host.

Communication from host could be better.
