"Charming place to stay in Westport"

The house is really beautiful, the room was cosy (we stayed on ground floor) somewhat smallish, but had all the amenities. The kitchen is superb and overall great atmosphere. The hosts were super nice and accommodating. This is not your typical hotel stay, but we really enjoyed the opportunity to spend a night over at David and Diana’s.

"Good Service and Beautiful Garden"

We stayed one night on our travels between Greymouth and Seddonville. Really nice grand old home with the biggest Pohutakawa tree you've ever seen. Lovely garden. Very close to one of Westport's main streets Palmerston, at just a block away for food and drink and a New World supermarket. Try the West Coast Pie Co they are some of the very best I've had. Plenty of street parking. David and Diana were very happy, accommodating and super friendly. They were excited to have photos with us in front of their thriving garden before we left!
Only gripe would be the bed was kind of too soft and unstable but apart from that it was all good. LLU Homes shuts its door for the night at 10 pm but with good reason. Be aware that Westport is one of those towns that starts to closeup shop around 8 pm on and everything is done by 10 pm pretty much. There is a large well-stocked FreshChoice supermarket 3 blocks or so up Russell St for late night needs and cravings,
