Lobster Bay Lombok

We had the most wonderful stay at Lobster Bay – truly a place to remember! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning location. Nestled in a breathtaking natural setting, it felt like we had stepped into a little slice of paradise. The villas are beautifully and stylishly decorated, combining comfort with elegance in the most perfect way. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it feel both luxurious and homely at the same time. What really stood out to us was how incredibly family- and child-friendly the entire resort is. Our kids had an unforgettable time with a wide variety of fun activities and the always cheerful staff who happily joined in the fun. And that brings us to our final — but by no means least important — point: the staff. They are absolutely amazing – incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with a smile, it made our experience all the more special. If you're looking for a magical escape with heart, style, and soul – this is it!

Lovely staff, great accomodation that offers everything u could possibly need. Its a secluded intimate resort, with great views and privacy. The staff in this resort left us with the best memories from Lombok, we’re grateful to have gained new friends and family. The gekkos and the tropical life is a part of the charm of visiting this beautiful island and resort. The limited breakfast menu is as expected considering it is a small and continuously growing resort, and one can always order outside of the breakfast menu with large pool of options and varieties. The room comes with a bathroom in the outside area, showering under the full moon in the fresh breeze was a new experience. The pool and room was offered to be cleaned and maintained every day. Transport and scooter is offered in ur hand immediately upon request. They are quick to offer everything upon request in the shortest time. They provided us with new towels and offers dry cleaning service. The resort is happy to assist you in planning your day and offer activity packages. The prices are expected to be higher than local prices as it comes with amazing service, and you really dont have to lift a finger. You need to rent a scooter? They will bring the scooter and helmets to you in your hand. Truly a wellness resort. The distance to Kuta is aprox 20min with scooter, and not a problem for us as it gave us a chance to explore local areas. The owner is caring and interactive with the guests. The area has military security, so you are 24/7 safe! We would definitely come back! Thank you 🙏🏼

Villas constructed from good materials. Still good.

It is called “wellness” resort on the sign, but the staff wants to sell alcohol (because of margin), but we do not drink alcohol, and the food for breakfast is only carbohydrates.

The views from restaurant is beautiful , service was slow but not bad. At check-in we asked if we could pay 95% of our bill in cash and the rest the next day after visiting the bank ( they had a card on file after-all) this was refused and we had to pay by card immediately. We received an upgrade to villa with an extra bedroom we didn’t need , suspect it was overbooked. This did place us behind noisy family villas with a view of mostly their roof. The villa is comfortable with beautiful decor and layout , our review would have overlooked all of the above if done at checkout . We were however caught by the ‘video of broken scooter’ sent to their ( recommended) taxi driver once we were far enough away from the hotel not have the time to return . This claimed that we crashed their scooter and they wanted 1mil for repairs. We did NOT crash or fall with the scooter we used to less than 2 hours , we asked to speak to the owner - who we saw and thanked at checkout but was told he is out. Our only option to safely reach the harbor was to pay a discounted rate in cash to the taxi driver. In short , our plans to return with our extended family was abruptly terminated.

The above mentioned situation, which seems like staff underhandedness and incompetence rather than the hotel.

The villa suited us very well, simply beautiful, the view, the pool nothing to say, normally we would have booked the standard one but the owner gave us an upgrade to the larger villa, you don't find such nice nd friendly owner everywhere, just like the staff who work there! Thankyou very much we will come back

Great staff! Super friendly. Great view and food. The villa is nice, pool is perfect.

Centipedes and other insects. We discovered a scorpion eating a cricket in our bathroom. Every door locks with a key. It's a bit remote, you'll need a ride. Frankly it's overpriced compared to comparable lodging and dining in Lombok, sorry.

This is a fantastic place to stay in Lombok. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and face straight out onto open views across the bay, foregrounded by your own infinity pool. You have total privacy in the most beautifal natural setting, with all sorts of plants, birds and insects around you (this is the tropics) and the sunsets are spectacular. All of the public spaces are well kept and as others have said, the staff are genuine and hard working, and of course some great conversations with the owner Andrew :) And by the way, yes Lobster Bay is 20 minutes from Kuta, but getting to town and back on a scooter is half the fun, you'll ride trough some lovely countryside and villages on very quiet roads.
