Hairdryer was broken, toilet brush and sink outlet could do with a good clean

Location was good for Waterfall walks and other trips locally we had planned. Restaurant and food was very good value

Room was comfortable but a bit small. Good job we are both slim as shower cubicle very very small.

Really nice, clean, modern and well looked after. For a small room, the space is utilised well with plenty of hanging space for clothes and lockable boot storage too.

Nothing i didn’t like

I love the location, the staff were amazing and the food downstairs is fantastic. Having another Pub just over the road and the waterfalls on a path just behind that is just perfect.

If I was to be really fussy, the bathroom sink could be a bit bigger, but that is me really clutching at straws!!

Fabulous location for visiting the waterfalls. Food was gorgeous. Room small but perfect for a couple of nights and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Young man who checked us in was very polite and helpful. Location perfect, especially if you like walks, as we do. Very informative leading up to stay, keeping us updated. Room was clean.

Unfortunately, when we entered the building to our room, there was a unpleasant smell, which continued into our room. We were unable to open windows as it was pouring with rain. One of the bed side tables was unsteady as the screws had come out from the wall on one side. The shower is incredibly small. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation if you are of a big build, as we are.

We chose this accommodation as it was in the perfect location for an extended version of the Four Waterfalls Walk. We had one of the compact rooms, which is suitably named, but was absolutely fine for a night: comfy, clean and with a kettle and Wi-Fi. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant where the staff were friendly and efficient and there was a good choice of food and drinks. Breakfast wasn't included, and the restaurant didn't start serving till 9.00 am which was too late for us, so we skipped it. There is a lot of building work going on at the hotel (looks like new accommodation blocks and perhaps a visitor centre) so parking is on the road at present. Beware that it gets very busy on weekends and during holiday periods.

It was all fine and more than adequate for one night.
