Verdant Haven Ella - Gateway to Ella Rock

Das extrem gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Der Inhaber hat sich zudem sehr große Mühe gegeben! Wir wurden mit dem Hauseigenen Tuk abgeholt und völlig umsorgt!

Ich war leider nur für eine Nacht dort um den Ella Rock am Morgen zu besichtigen. Die Unterkunft war dafür aber ideal, weil sie nah am Einstiegspunkt zum Aufstieg liegt und der Bahnhof Kithaella auch. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gemütlich und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und von der Menge genau richtig. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und Ayesh hatte viele Tipps für Ausflüge und bot Unterstützung beim Transfer zur Unterkunft und auch bei der Weiterreise. Danke, ich komme gerne wieder :)

Es war insgesamt sehr schön. Ich habe jedoch nachts ein paar TukTuks vorbei fahren hören, obwohl ich sonst einen tiefen Schlaf habe. Ich war aber auch nur eine Nacht dort.

One of the best guesthouse we have been in Sri Lanka! Rooms are big, with a real shower and very good wifi. The host is very welcoming and gave us helpful tips, if you like to walk you can walk from the guesthouse to the city and train rails (30 min walk)

Owner went way beyond expectations in making our 2 night stay (myself and husband, adult son and uncle) a memorable experience. Ayesh collected us from the main road by his own tuk tuk, making extra trips as we had suitcases with us; guiding our son on a sunrise walk up Adam's Peak, walking us to a nearby eating place where, again, we were struck by Sri Lankan hospitality - an excellent meal in a quirky cabin next to the single track railway line. Breakfast in the morning was prepared by Ayesh's sister - Hoppers, fruit platter, toast and jam, tea or coffee. Comfortable beds and walk in wet room. Perfect and the booking exceptional value. Thank you so much!

A little inconvenient needing tuk tuk transport as our minibus couldn't access the slope to the property but Ayesh solved the problem with no fuss.

Ayish ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber! Er hat uns bei allen möglichen Dingen unterstützt - er war uns ein wunderbarer Wanderguide und hat uns sogar mit dem Tuktuk überall hingefahren (zu einem fairen Preis). Das Zimmer hat alles, was man benötigt und das Bett war eines der bequemsten auf unserer 3wöchigen Reise! Die Lage ist auch gut - wenn man wandern möchte ist man schnell am wundervollen Ella Rock und auch die Bahn Haltestelle liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt.

In Ella wird gerade allgemein viel gebaut. Das hört man halt hin und wieder. Uns hat das aber nicht gestört, am Abend war damit eh Schluss und wir konnten friedlich schlafen.

Liebe nette Besitzer. Das Zimmer war schön geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück sehr umfangreich. In die Stadt zu Fuß ungefähr 30min. Der Besitzer fährt oder holt einen aber auch ab.

Bequemes Bett mit warmer Decke. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Das Moskitonetz war super. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr lecker. Fußläufig zum Ella Rock. Ayesh und seine Schwester sind sehr tolle Gastgeber. Ayesh hat uns abends in Ella abgeholt, was wirklich toll war.

We liked everything. Location was a drive away but the owner has a tuk tuk and is very helpful re picking up and dropping off

Værelset var smukt indrettet. Ejeren var helt utrolig hjælpsom og til stede. Var meget opmærksom på om man havde det godt. Gav mange tips og informationer om området og gik gerne med for at vise stederne

Der var ikke køleskab på værelset men man kunne lægge lidt i hotellets køkkens
