The Corduroy Hotel

Misrepresented. Wasn’t a hotel . Run down and dirty. Riverside rooms unpleasant and mosquito ridden. Staff were lovely - wasn’t their fault place was poor. Had to change rooms as first one look. Second one a ‘suite’ that was poor. Woke up to dead flying insects all around the bed. Sunk did not drain . Shower was terrible.

o hotel não tem pequeno almoço incluido, tivemos de pagar o pequeno almoço à parte, apesar de no site estar a dizer que tinha pequeno almoço incluido.

O quarto poderia ser um pouco melhor. Devem analisar bem os quartos antes de reservar, Verifiquei que o Hotel tinha outros quartos que me agradavam mais.

L emplacement très bien pas très loin de la plage.

I only stayed here for one night but I wish it was longer! My room was so cute and interesting with a lovely view and cosy bed. The grounds are super pretty and I loved meeting the resident parrot! Next time I stay I'll make sure to use the beautiful pool. Really close to the beach and all the fun there also.

一切都超糟糕

拜託拜託不要來這個地方！！！如果你不想要你的假期被毀！！！這邊地理位置非常無敵糟糕（在一個很小的巷子裡面，幾乎沒有路燈十分危險），房子裡面很多蚊蟲而且到處都很髒，我的浴巾、床單都像沒洗過一樣，房間十分昏暗且狹小。我在這邊被蚊子叮咬導致身體不適，因為蚊蟲導致我很晚睡覺，他們早上9點多開始就開始施工，噪音讓人不堪其擾，飯店人員拒絕全額退款或是提供醫療協助，晚上需要協助完全找不到任何服務人員，以這個價格來說附近完全有一大堆更好的地方可以住！拜託拜託拜託不要來！！！太惡心了這個地方！

the property and environment is very nice

as told by the staff I have to ask my son to stay away from the decoration.

This Is not the usual fancy resort! This place is special 🤩 You are welcomed and treated like a friend in a location full of interesting details... And less thank 5 minutes walk from the beach. 24h frigo bar where you can serve yourself and they trust you to keep the count of drinks/food until checkout. Rented a big and powerful scooter for One day (we were late and give back the keys the day After and they did not ask for any extra Money) for less thank 10 euro to visit Ubud. And many more good points but i am tired to type 😄

I can give a tip pubblicly: there was not written on the dispensers, in the (big and beautiful) shower, which One was the shampoo and which the shower gel. We had to Guess from smelling them 😘

The creative design of the property is unique and picturesque. The staff when around were helpful and accommodating but in the evenings the staff were hard to come by. The location is very close to echo beach, short walk. Further from the centre of Canggu.

Spending 4 nights here and each one had an issue. I was in the River Boat room, unknowingly directly above a dirty river/swamp. The open bathroom and wooden hut let unwanted creatures in which is not expected at a 4 star boutique hotel. From mosquitoes to lizards to crabs in my bedroom it was not an enjoyable stay. Further to this my room had a large leak in the ceiling after heavy rainfall, so bad I had to move rooms temporarily. All of the staff were aware of the continuous mishaps but never made effort to appease or bring up with the manager. Upon leaving I met with the Hotel owner to bring up my shock that this is the standard of a 4 star hotel the only resolution was an upgrade if I wanted another night stay, which I did not. I would have preferred compensation for the bother. I do hope renovations of the River boat room take place as I will never return to this hotel.
