"The Perfect weekend stay with old friends. Homely ,warm and quiet!"

The location was perfect and it was spacious, quiet and well equipped. Hosts were really great and let us check in early To escape the rain! It really made the weekend!

"Fabulous house next to York Minster."

Fantastic location and superb house for a group or large family. Brilliantly fitted out with lots of communal space and fabulous kitchen, lounge and wood panelled dining area. Bedrooms large and comfortable. No outside sound despite being next to York Minster and groups of tourists!

We needed to buy dishwasher tablets - would have been great if a few were supplied with washing up kit. I also think we were short a bed (6 rather than 7) so one pair shared a double. One bed is Harry Potter style under the stairs - fun for kids but not so much adults wanting windows! Don't think this was obvious from the details.

"Spacious, comfortable and historic apartment just steps from York Minster"

This apartment was in the best possible location. York Minster is visible from every window. Tour groups came down the street every evening. There was so much space in this apartment and the kitchen was clean, modern and well-stocked.

Because of the historical nature of the apartment, the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow which is to be expected. The location, cleanliness, roominess and comfort of the apartment made up for this.

The location of this property is wonderful. From the living room, you have a beautiful view of the garden of the treasurers house. A few steps from the door and you are at York minster. The most popular areas of the city are waiting to be exploed. Despite being surrounded by popular attractions it is very quiet, spacious and relaxing inside. Tastefully decorated with a few quirky surprises. I highly recommend it.

I would warn anyone with mobility issues that this would not be a great choice for them.
