Chapter House YORK

Location is excellent. The house is next door to York Minster and the city centre is just a short walk. The house itself is huge and has been tastefully refurbished. A very comfortable living room with room for a family Fabulous modern kitchen with everything you need. The bedrooms are comfortable with room to sleep 7 easily. Bathrooms were modern. The house is very quiet and warm, extremely comfortable. Loved the harry Potter room.

The stairs up to the top floor are a little precarious, care is needed.

The size was surprisingly big for its location - which was excellent. The property was well equipped and the extras like the pool table added to the overall excellence.

Nothing really. The heating did seem a bit erratic and we couldn’t really work out the timings and the twin bedroom radiator never got warm.

Location town centre. Large kitchen and living room. Good TV. Spacious. Three good size bedrooms.

Shower over bath only by the three bedrooms. The shower cubicle was on the ground floor. The bedroom off the living room was really small and no window, it could have done with a good clean in terms of the floor, under the bed and the walls where there is no plaster, dust and cobwebs in view. The bed however was clean and comfy.

Quirky house. Good location

Small items. Mirror to shave in the bathroom. Slip shower mat. Clothes rail in bedroom. Some condiments in the kitchen.

Location and the age and history of the building.the original features were very nice. My 2 year old grandaughter kept refering to the man in diningroom which we never saw, haunted or what.

The stairs a bit dangerous to bedrooms for kids as well as adults. Found a dusty sock and kitchen towel behind radiator. And a grape under bed

Excellent location

No parking. Lots of stairs
