Lake Shafer Resort

It was walking distance to Indiana Beach. The newly renovated apartments were cute and very up to date!! The owners are super friendly and very accommodating!!! The perfect little weekend getaway for any age!!!

The water

You have everything you need. Super clean and comfortable. Pet friendly and the owner Lora was was super kind and hospitable.

Super close to the amusement park

The location is great for going to Indiana Beach. You can just walk down to road to it. Even though your that close to it you don't hear all the noise from it. The pool was great my grandkids had a great time here and so did I. I would come back again. I got the green room which sleeps 10 and there was only 5 of us and there was lots of room. The kitchen was great has everything you need as if you was home even a dishwasher. Nice view of the lake from the deck and from our room. All's you need is your clothes and buy food and your all set for your stay. You need to come check it out. Hate to leave but our times up.

The only thing is parking not a lot of parking here. But they will figure something out for you. There is the big parking lot for Indiana Beach. If you unloaded and then had to park there it's not that bad to walk to and from. That's the only thing I can say that I could see wrong. If you come during the week like I did. I had no parking problem.

Staff very nice and curtious rooms are clean

The smell of rotten eggs from the water treatment, the small sizes of the rooms and there was no tvs in the bedrooms only the living room and the parking spaces are hard to get out of

The owners are what I like about the property!!! The fact that they live there is comforting. Very clean, great views, you can see how much the owners take pride in their resort. Location to the amusement park is great
