Das Viertel, in dem die Unterkunft liegt ist nett. Das Bett war recht gemütlich und sehr groß.

Das Personal war extrem unfreundlich und hat so gut wie gar nicht mit uns gesprochen. Der Name ist täuschend, denn es ist gar kein „Hotel“, vielmehr eine Art vom Restaurant verwaltete Ferienwohnung. Die Hygiene und Sauberkeit ließ extrem zu wünschen. Offenbar wird die Reinigung nicht von professionellem Reinigungspersonal erledigt. Im Bad lagen viele Haare und Zehennägel (mitten im Raum). Der Teppich im Zimmer ist dreckig und voller Haare. Durch das Bettlaken konnte man dunkle lange Haare durchsehen. Es war trotz Heizung sehr kalt. Das Licht ist extrem dunkel. Es gibt keinen Safe. Im Kühlschrank war nur ein normales Glas für zwei Gäste, dafür je zwei Sekt-und Weingläser. Altmodischer Zutritt per Schlüssel und unten ständig offener Haustür. Überhaupt nicht die offene, helle Anmutung wie auf den Fotos. Absolut unbefriedigendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Unik look, ett gammalt tryckeri som blivit ombyggt till ett litet hotell. Rymligt rum. Ca 5 minuters promenad till tunnelbana och bussar.

Väldigt smal och brant trappa. Hiss saknas.

A huge, warehouse loft style room with tasteful furniture and lots of space. Towels were refreshed every couple of days and beds turned down. The bathroom had a powerful shower and a bath. Everything was clean. You check in with the staff at the Gyozo restaurant downstairs and they give you a key, so it's not a hotel as such. We didn't use the sauna on the roof. A brilliant central location and 10 minutes walk to the JR station. Walking distance to the Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle. This was our favourite accommodation on our three city Japan holiday. Highly recommended!

Tolles Design und gute Lage. Netter Empfang im Restaurant und gutes Essen. Sehr gute Betten. Kein Verkehr oder Lärm von außen. Super Beleuchtung mit Dimmern. Schickes Bad.

Wir waren im Herbst da, draußen war es kalt und wir wussten nicht, ob wir heizen können. Nachts brummt das Haus ein bisschen.

Modern; big bathroom; great bathroom (kiehls) amenities; fleece blanket; playground across the street good for families with kids aged 4-10.

A little traffic noise... so maybe they should provide ear plugs for light sleepers.

Le personnel est vraiment au top et à l’écoute de chacun de nos besoins. Petite attention dans la chambre pour notre voyage de noces! Il est plutôt bien placé avec différents bus et proche de Gion.

Le fait qu’il ne fasse pas le ménage chaque jour, l’aspirateur n’a pas été passé quand elle a changé les serviettes.

The room was located in a nice neighbourhood and the owner was really friendly. Also, the bathroom was amazing and the restaurant downstairs had tasty gyoza’s.

The room (especially the carpet) was not very clean. The carpet was full of stains and hairs. Also, the sauna is quite costly if you want to use this.
