Very stylish and spacious room. Perfect for a family stay! The staff was very nice. Loved the outside/inside contrast:)

Everything was super nice, the room itself feel fancy and the manager told us that they have change the mattress no long before we arrive. The gyoza restaurant in the first floor is amazing! Definitely a must try. As a side note, I lost my bag in the train going to Kyoto and the staff at the hotel was super nice and helpful so we could get it back.

I think that if you want to be at the city center this is no the place for you. But it’s well connected to the metro system and nothing it’s too far. I love just getting back to the hotel and being in a quiet area, it feel more lile tje real Kyoto.

The room was very quiet, and very large so very comfortable for a few days' stay as compared to other hotels in kyoto which are usually much smaller. The Onsen/Sauna at the hotel is a MUST-try., that exceeded our expectations. Loved that it was a private space and we could easily jump from the hot water tub to the very cold one and the sauna. There were also drinks you could purchase in the space. Should have done this one the first day as it was fully booked for the next two, but luckily the staff managed to squeeze us in for a session on the morning we were supposed to elave.

The location is a little far from the city, so bus or train to most of the tourist sites do take at least 20-40 minutes.

We loved the look of the property, it’s location in a quiet neighborhood, and it’s proximity to bus routes as well as an awesome gyoza restaurant. We stayed for a week and felt right at home, especially thanks to the welcoming staff.
