Snow Palace Nozawa

Snow Palace met my expectations—clean and friendly, helpful staff.

The showers and onsen need upgrading.

The owner and his staff were amazing. They went out of their way to help us with our requests and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Very Accommodating, Staff were very informative and helpful. The facilities exceeded our expectations with cleanliness and functionality, as well as providing a comforting atmosphere.

* Superb view from the common area * tatami mat with normal bed * DIY breakfast with provided bread/eggs/jam was fantastic * Rooms were warm and had enough space for luggage * complimentary ride to the ski slopes + they even offered a ride with our luggage to our following accommodation in Nozawa (would have preferred to stay here if they had availability)

* Shared bathroom is a bit inconvenient, but they made it work * free public onsen across the street is a good selling point until you realize it’s incredibly cold there and you can only shower with freezing water, while the bath itself is scalding hot - not for everyone

The staff, all super friendly and approachable.also the free car service was so helpful when going to Gondola or station.

Workers were very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating and attentive. Overall great service.

I wish we had our own bathroom in the room. But other than that everything was perfect.
