Snow Palace Nozawa

The property was light, bright, clean and renovated. Our group loved the communal kitchen and dining room which was beautiful and well equipped. It was a real surprise to have breakfast ingredients available. Nice touch. The bedrooms were clean and warm and it was brilliant to have an on suite. I was a little nervous that the hotel was too far from the gondola, but it was only a 15min walk. The staff were always available to drive us to the lift anyway.

The bedrooms needed more hooks for clothes or towels. That is just constructive criticism.

Modern, clean facilities. Exceptionally helpful staff! Even though it's a bit of a walk to the main gondola, the staff provided us with a ride every morning. Coming back home for the day it's only a few minutes from the slopes. Would certainly stay here again.

Snow Palace Nozawa was one of the best places I’ve stayed. The beds were a particular highlight; traditional futon style but insanely comfortable, both the pillow and mattress. The kitchen was amazing, as well as the dining/lounge room, where we would often relax after a day of skiing. We had our own bathroom in our room which was great, everything was incredibly clean, tidy and welcoming. The staff kindly offer shuttles up to the gondola each morning. We will 100% return.

The staff are amazing! Great facilities, free breakfast, lifts to the Gondola, and so clean and modern. Wouldn’t stay if I had kids with me only because of the distance to mountain is a bit of a hike.

Distance to mountain bike 15 min walk but no issue if not with kids as the town is lovely and is a nice way to explore.

Very nice, clean, spacious, still brand new. It has common kitchen and very nice dining area. The staffs are so helpful and friendly. The room has nice mountain view which is very beautiful.

We did not got own toilet and bathroom. A little toilet or as simple as bathroom sink would be nice too.

We had an amazing stay. The property is beautiful with a great common room and kitchen with stunning views. The rooms are comfortable and all facilities are absolutely immaculately clean. The staff were a true highlight of the stay. they were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was just great and we plan to return next season.

Nothing! it would be nice to have an on sight Onsen in the shower room but it looks like they might be building one. There is a great public Onsen just across the street though
